Before you book
Is the appointment really free?
Yes. The in-home visit and the written estimate cost you nothing, and you're under no obligation to hire anyone afterwards. We're paid by the contractors in our network, not by you.
Who actually shows up at my house?
An independent, licensed and insured local contractor from our network who works in your area and does your type of project. You'll know who's coming before they arrive.
What does 'vetted' mean here?
Before a company can take appointments through us we check that their contractor licence and liability insurance are current. We then keep monitoring how homeowners rate their visits, and companies that stop meeting the standard stop getting appointments.
Will I get bombarded with calls?
No. You're booking one appointment with one company, not broadcasting a request to a dozen of them. You'll get a confirmation, then a call from the assigned pro to confirm the visit.
What if I need to reschedule?
Tell the pro when they call to confirm, or contact us and we'll move it. Rescheduling and cancelling both cost nothing.
Do you sell my information?
We share your details with the contractor assigned to your appointment so they can carry out the visit. Our Privacy Policy sets out exactly what we collect and what we do with it, and you can opt out at any time.
