How it works

From “I should get that looked at” to a booked appointment, in about a minute

No quote-request limbo, no waiting to find out whether anybody picked up your enquiry. You leave with a real appointment.

  • Licensed & insured pros
  • Free in-home estimate
  • You pick the time
  • No obligation to hire
  1. 1

    Pick your project

Browse the nine services we cover. Every listing tells you what the appointment includes, how long the visit takes and what the work typically costs — before you hand over a single detail.

If you're not sure which category fits, pick the closest one. The pro assesses what's actually in front of them when they arrive.

  2. 2

    Pick your time

Choose a date and a time window — morning, afternoon or evening. You choose it on the site, and nobody rings you up to renegotiate it afterwards.

We book two days out at the earliest so your pro can plan a proper visit instead of squeezing you between two other jobs.

  3. 3

    Get a free written estimate

A licensed, insured local contractor comes out, assesses the job properly and leaves you with an itemised written estimate you can actually compare against others.

The visit costs nothing. You're not paying for the estimate and you're not committing to anything by having one.

  4. 4

    Decide in your own time

If the estimate works, you hire the contractor directly. If it doesn't, you say no and that's the end of it. No follow-up campaign, no pressure.

Any contract is between you and the contractor. We're not a party to it and we don't take a cut of your project.

That’s the whole process

Free estimate, no obligation, and you keep control of the decision from start to finish.

Questions

Common questions

What does it cost me?

Nothing. The appointment and the written estimate are free to you. We're paid by the contractors in our network for the introduction, which is why we can offer it at no cost to homeowners.

How is this different from a quote-request form?

A quote form sends your details somewhere and hopes someone rings you. Here you leave with a specific appointment — a date, a time window and a company assigned to it.

How many companies will contact me?

One. We assign a single contractor to your appointment rather than selling your details to several companies at once.

How do you choose which pro comes out?

By service area, by the type of work you've booked, by current licensing and insurance, and by how well they've performed on previous appointments.

Can I book more than one service?

Yes. Book them separately and we'll coordinate the visits where the same company covers both — a roof and solar assessment together, for example.

What if nobody turns up?

Call us. A no-show is a serious mark against a contractor in our network and we'll rebook you with someone else.
