Who we are
Appointments Biz operates appointments.biz, a platform that connects homeowners with independent third-party home improvement contractors. This policy explains what we collect when you use the site, how we use it, and who we share it with.
Information we collect
When you book an appointment we collect:
- Your name, email address and telephone number
- Your ZIP code and the city and state it resolves to
- The service you booked and your answers to the project questions
- Whether you own the property and your project timeframe
- The date and time window you selected
- The exact consent text you agreed to, the version of that text, the time you agreed, and your IP address and browser user agent at the time
- Marketing attribution data present in the page URL, such as UTM parameters and advertising click identifiers
We also collect standard analytics data about how the site is used, through the providers listed below.
How we use it
- To assign your appointment to a contractor and let them carry out the visit
- To send you a booking confirmation and appointment reminders
- To contact you about your booking
- To keep records demonstrating the consent you gave and when
- To measure and improve how the site performs
Who we share it with
We share the information you submit with the independent contractor assigned to your appointment so they can contact you and attend the visit. We also use service providers who process data on our behalf, including hosting, customer relationship management, email delivery and analytics providers.
Appointments Biz may receive compensation from contractors for referrals or marketing services. Any contractor you deal with is an independent third party, not our employee or agent.

Your choices
- You can withdraw marketing consent at any time using our Do Not Call request form.
- You can reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts.
- You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@appointments.biz.
Withdrawing marketing consent does not cancel an appointment you have already booked. To cancel, call us on (800) 555-0148.
Retention and security
We keep booking and consent records for as long as needed to run the service and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations, and we apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect them. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
The site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
